Beans & Bread

Having a digital presence is one thing. Opening up a storefront is an entire different landscape. Creating a brand whose footprint extends beyond the computer screen into a local community requires thinking through multiple formats and applications. How will this logo live on a handheld coffee tumbler and at large, on exterior signage?

When Erik came to us with a pre-existing logo, Studio Luli kept in mind his desired aesthetic, while making it functional. And yes, we addressed the range of formats. That meant switching from a serif handwritten font to a sans serif font because "Erik, when people are driving by, they need to see your brand from afar and immediately want to stop for coffee and an artisanal baked good!”

With an anticipated launch in the late winter / early spring in Metuchen, New Jersey, Studio Luli is working closely with this well-seasoned food entrepreneur to open a community focused bakery. Scope of work for this project includes: branding package, website design and build, interior design and direction for the cafe.
